Opening your Easy access account - issue 34

Thank you for your interest in investing your money with us Before we start to collect your information, there are a few things you need to know. For your security, this is a secure page so the information you provide cannot be intercepted. It will also time out if you leave a page without any changes for more than 30 minutes.

You will automatically be registered to manage this and any other Kent Reliance Savings account that you hold online once we have successfully verified your identity and opened your account.

Are you eligible to apply for this account online?
  • You must be 18 or over to open an account online
  • You cannot open an online account on behalf of another person (for example for a child or where you wish to act as Power Of Attorney)
  • You will need to provide your National Insurance number, as well as your name and contact details, plus your previous address if you have been at your current address for less than three years
  • You must be a permanent UK resident
  • You must be a UK tax resident
  • You will need to have a valid UK current account held in your own name because you will need to quote the account number and sort code for that account when applying online. Any online withdrawals that you make will be paid into this account
  • Please note that if you hold any branch based accounts, you will only be able to view these accounts, and will not be able to move any money into or out of branch based accounts online
  • Your account will only be opened once we have received your initial deposit. We must receive this within 7 days of your application being approved
Please make sure you have the following handy before starting the application
  • Your current account details that you will be using as your nominated account
  • Your address history for the last 3 years
  • Your National Insurance number
  • One of your active Kent Reliance Savings account numbers, if you are an existing customer
